First Time to Provincetown?

Here's What You Need to Know

Provincetown (commonly called P-Town) first-timers tend to contact our property with heaps of questions. Not only does the quaint, colorful town have a lot of places to explore and plan for, but just getting there can be a feat on its own.

While other rural areas tend to turn off the lights at 9PM, Provincetown guests can experience a vibrant nightlife--meeting people from all over the world.

We know you are probably excited about visiting Cape Cod. Reading this guide will help you plan out your full experience, allowing you to meet the expectations you've set for yourself.

Provincetown is Gay

This isn't derogatory, this is the truth! Provincetown is renowned for its acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community, and hosts a wide variety of events to prove it. It's the gayest town in America, with heavily liberal thought emanating from the artistic community that thrives here.

The city hosts several weeklong events for people to enjoy throughout the year, including Carnival, Pride Week, Bear Week, and more. Those wanting to experience Cape Cod with their families should probably stick to Chatham or Harwich.
